Pre-requisite. Usually refering to courses or work-training in college. Also encountered in RPG and MMORPG game-talk.

I'd like to sign up for the "Computational Linguistics" course, but the "Methodology" pre-rec is a real turnoff.

- Yeah, but the pre-recs are a real pain in the rear.

Yiddish slang word meaning bullshit, baloney, hogwash, nonsense, crock of shit or hot air.

I don't buy the schmegegge about Morty sleeping with Moira.
His version of the story was pure schmegegge.
The whole schmegegge was made up to get Liz a little bit of attention.
