Acronym for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: A grappling martial art developed in Brazil based on Japanese Jiu-Jitsu. The general idea in BJJ is to first secure the best possible position on the ground, and then to choke or lock-out the joint of an opponent, forcing the opponent to submit, pass out, or suffer serious bodily harm. True to its intent, BJJ was made popular in America by an a Brazilian named Royce Gracie who, at only 175#, succeeded in submitting much larger opponents in the eary days of full-contact limited rules competition. Today, BJJ is generally recognized as the most effective form of ground-fighting. BJJ employs no striking techniques, it is practiced wearing a gi, and it employs a belt system (white, blue, purple, brown, and black). BJJ techniques are often employed to some extent by MMA competitors and by wrestlers, judo players, and other grapplers seeking to add submission techniques to their arsenal. It's best to stomp a BJJ player as soon as possible, and don't let him grab you.

A linguistic concept. Syntax is the way how words are combined to phrases or sentences. Syntax is commonly defined as a set of rules, which, if followed, are capable to produce all possible sentences (or programms if you consider computer languages as well) of a specific language correctly.
There are psychologists that assume that there has to be a syntax in our brains to understand language at all. One (possible) rule of the english language: "In declarative sentences the word order is subject, predicate, object", e.g. Tom (subject) is sitting (predicate) on the chair (object).

1. Term used to sarcastically describe the state of having escaped the level boundaries of a video game.
2. The glitched result or area outside of a room where such an act is possible. The term was first coined to describe the glitched areas of the original Metroid game for NES, caused by leaving rooms in the wrong directions (where no doors existed) and causing the game to load data in an order that was never meant to happen in the normal course of gameplay. The term was made popular by the discovery of holes in wall collision detection in the Nintendo Gamecube game Metroid Prime, which allowed players to walk around outside loaded rooms, view far-away scenery up close, and experience the unique physics and glitches of such an act. Although the term Secret World is used mainly in the context of Metroid games, it is often applied to any game where the opportuntiy to escape clipping exists. The discovery of Secret World 5 in Omega research proved that it was possible to find a Secret World in a room with a ceiling.

They are also usually overwieght (at least in my experience)and they are also against video games, internet, and television. They will also go around forcing their beleifs on everyone they meet. 1. Brother did a chalking at a festival of a preecher from Hellsing for those who know of the anime series. He did not get to finish due to a soccer mom disproving of his chalking when he had done worse at many other chalkings and everyone appercated his work. Soccer Mom is over wieght.
2. I was working at HollyWood Video soccer mom comes and returns Batman the Fox cartoon because it is too violent for her 14 year old son. Also returns Kim Possible because she does not like the girl power theme in their. She and her son are also over weight. 3. I am walking home with my two little brothers and we are all having a good time messing around, and a soccer mom takes a picture of us and claims we (me and my younger brother) were muging my littlest brother when he is there smiling and laughing with us as well. She then threatens to call the police, but does not. She is also overwieght and drives a blue mini-van. 4. LOOK ALL SOCCER MOM'S ARE PURE EVIL AND OVERLY PARINOD, THEY ARE WHAT CAUSE CHILDERN TO GO OFF THE DEEP END AND KILL THEMSELVES, EVERYONE AROUND THEM, OR THEIR CHILDERN LATRER BECOME CHILD OBDUCTORS. WITHOUT THEM THERE WOULD BE WORLD PEACE!!!!!!!!! |
