When you go on a bender, and in the morning find out that there's no left-over pizza in the fridge, but have no recollection of eating any of it!

The act of sitting around at a friends, but being extremely hungry for pizza. No one wants to pay for a whole pizza, so you all see how much money you have to make an investment in the pizza. Or, one person pays for the pizza and you promise to pay them back a couple bucks tomorrow. Literally, making an investment in pizza.
