perhapsmear

A word used in place of "perhaps" whose only purpose is making the listener have to think about what was just said, and possibly throw the conversation in a completely different direction (because of its similarity to pap smear).

Perhaps...

The true more devious form of saying maybe while having some class. It still makes you a douche bag if you don't confirm your answer. Ellipses add extra confusion just to mess around.

Bill: "Perhaps..."
Fred: "Is that a yes or no though?"
