A Park rat refers to any person who spends an inordinate amount of time at a skateboard park OR a snowboard/ski park.

Snowboard park rats are characterized by their lack of adequate hygiene, poor grammar, terribe emo clothing, and a complete and utter inability to ride big mountain. Park Rats are to be avoided, as prolonged exposure leads to increased stupidity.

a snowboarder/skier who rides simply for the terrain park on the mountain, being typically inconsiderate of most other resort goers, park rats are obnoxious. however they're hilarious. They can be easily identified by exuberantly baggy clothing, often size XXXL or even XXXXL shirts over their typical outerwear and an affiliation with the brand "Special Blend." They're aight.
