A contrived word used in place of 'semester' by some ignorant feminists who think 'semester' has something to do with semen. It doesn't. 'Semester' comes from the Latin 'cursus semestris', meaning 'a course of 6 months'. 'Semen' means 'seed' in Latin while 'ovum' means 'egg'.

Interestingly, 'seminar' actually does come from the same root as 'semen', so I guess they could argue about that instead, if they could convince people that eggs are better than seeds as a metaphor for ideas. Alternatively, they could do their research, stop being so paranoid and focus on contributing something useful to society. Such as making me a sandwich.
Feminist: This ovester is gonna be great, we're studying Sylvia Plath.

Rational human being: You mean this semester?

Feminist: DON'T SAY THAT WORD, IT MEANS SEMEN, I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR SEMEN YOU TOOL OF THE PATRIARCHY.

Rational human being: If you're insane enough to equate 'semester' with male oppression, surely 'ovester' is just female oppression? Isn't it about equality?

Feminist: Are you coming on to me?

Rational human being: *facepalm*
