Otherthinking is when your brain is thinking (worrying, daydreaming) about being in a different moment to the one you're actually experiencing. Examples are when you get anxious otherthinking what'd happen to you if you have to go through a worst case scenario, or when you stop living your real life because you're too busy otherthinking daydreams of living as if you're rich or living when you're older, etc.
"Stop overthinking about your boyfriend cheating on you. He hasn't done anything bad yet!"
"Don't overthink yourself into a panic attack. The plane won't be crashing."
"Too much lazing around otherthinking life as a millionaire means you never put enough time into making money in the real world."
