The word used to refer to the scholarly or philosophical "god" espoused by many theists and theologians as being omnipotent (all-powerful), omniscient (all-knowing), omnibenevolent (all-loving or all-good), omnipresent (existing everywhere), and perfect. This definition of "god" is what many atheists and non-theists refer to as being self-contradictory, sometimes compared to the logical impossibility of a square-circle. The God of the Bible is often claimed to be an omnimax god.
