Similar to nitpicking, except the person doing so is completely insane. This is often done by various conspiracy theorists, such as Teahadists, Westboro Baptist Church, and those who watch Ancient Aliens without irony. Nutpickers are occasionally a source of lulz, but they're mostly just the Internet's answer to a sewage fart.

That tattooed asshole is nutpicking the Bible again. Someone take it away from him before he hurts himself.

Someoen who, rather than attack the merits of your argument will bring up completely irrelevant shit, like how you mispronounced a word or, in the case of the internet, typed a word wrong.
