A name for most/all generic modern rock on the radio. Characterized by raspy vocals, forgettable guitar riffs, and big, catchy choruses.

: 1) the nickname given to any Rock or Pop band that gets paid to SUCK!

2) a nickname given to Nickleback.

Person A: "Hey did you see that Nicklecrap concert lat night?"

taxidriver, from the past in America when taxi meter rates were in five cent (the US coin known as a nickel) increments of distance after the initial charge

"You're a(n) 'effin nickelchaser", insult hurled at a taxi driver in some sort of disagreement with, typically, a young and drunk person.

nickeltapping 

A prank used to scare people. Stick a nickel to one of the sticky strips on a Band-aid and attach fishing wire to it. Stick the other band-aid strip to someone's window, and draw out the fishing line to a hideout car. You can then pull on the fishing line to make the nickel hit the glass, which sounds like someone tapping on the window. Best used on homes of neurotic old ladies.

We went nickeltapping on old lady Rawlins last night. It was hilarious because she was nearly crying and almost called the cops.
