a City in the predominantly wealthy Orange County, CA. has a population of around 80,000 and is one of the wealthiest communities in CA as well as the U.S. you know you are in newport beach when you enter the city and the makes of cars drastically change. every other car is a Benz or a BMW and you are guaranteed to see a couple of Bentleys or Ferrari's. a luxury shoppers paradise because it is home to Fashion Island mall and close to South Coast Plaza. both places you can spend more money on one outfit than most people's mortgages. almost all kids that live there are rich and half of kids drive nicer cars than the Staff. real estate is INSANE can't buy a single family home for less than 1 mill and some homes are worth over 20 million. home to some celebrities such as kobe bryant, john wayne, whitney houston, and nicolas cage. JEEZ, no wounder it's considered the Beverly hills OF OC.

a super-wealthy section of Newport Beach, Orange County that is in between newport and laguna beach. considered the Bel Air of Orange county because it has large Mansions, is all GATED, and is not a city but a neighborhood of another city(same as Bel Air). almost all of the homes are in the same style, but who cares if you have a 15,000sf mega mansion overlooking the ocean. basically you aint going to live here unless you have at least a couple million or you live in one of the condos. must be nice to be SUPER rich...

Newport News, affectionately known as Bad Newz is one of Virginia's largest cities in perhaps the largest metropolitan area in Virginia. The overall feel of the city is industrial urban/non-descript urban sprawl. The most charming & distinctive areas of the city are Hilton Village, Port Warwick, City Center, East End, and Huntington Heights.
To the ears of other cities in Hampton Roads which is the surrounding metro area, Newport News conjurs images of shipyards, ports, violent crime, drug infested neighborhoods, and beautiful river vistas. Newport News has some of the best shopping and retail for 100 miles around, with vast commercial areas including shops, department stores, hundreds of resturants, and theaters. Within the past 5 years Newport News has seen unparalelled urban and highrise growth and renewal, now making the city one of the finest cities in the Tidewater area.
Newport News may still have that ghetto reputation but it is becoming more than just a rusted, industrial, cookie-cutter, urban no-where-ville that it was from the 70's through the 90's. The city is now capturing an identity of it's own, and a renaissance of sorts is happening there as we speak!
Newport News is home to Ella Fitzgerald, Pearl Baily, Michael Vick, Allen Iverson, Arron Brooks, Marcus Vick, and many future famous people. 50cent refers to Newport News in his song Ski Mask Way, stirring controversy with local rappers.
Newport News is one of the most (Black to White) integrated areas of the U.S. Demographics are nearly split with many neighborhoods in the city splitting 50/50. The East End and many areas of Denbigh are exclusively African American, while there are virtially no exclusively White parts of the city.
Bottom line, this place is probably quite different from where you live, anywhere else in America.

Someone from Newport Beach, who fits the stereotype of an entitled, unreliable, bitch. At first, it’s on its best behavior. It will zip you through the PCH in a shiny sports car. Once you have the keys to the door, the secrets slowly leak out, making you feel uncomfortable, and a bit comical.

"Newport Pagnell is a modern thriving market town situated in the North East of Buckinghamshire. The history of the area dates back to the Iron Age and the town itself is from the Roman period." says the Town Council.
The town is built around the connection of two rivers: the Ouzel (also known as Lovat) which comes up from Leighton Buzzard and the Ouse which omes up from Buckingham. Once joined the Ouse goes on to Olney and Bedford.
The town was part of Buckinghamshire until 1974 when the government created the new borough of Milton Keynes. Newport Pagnell remains outside Milton Keynes} and cermonially still part of the old county of Buckinghamshire, so it is both within and without Milton keynes depending on exactly what you mean.
As at 2010 there is still some green belt between the town and Milton Keynes but that is shrinking.
Newport Pagnell is probably most famous for:
a) Being the place Aston Martin built their luxury sports cars (there is still a service centre left, although the factory has gone)
b) Tickford Bridge, over the River Ouzel (or Lovat), was built in 1810 and is the only iron bridge in Britain that still carries main road traffic and is the oldest iron bridge in the world that is still in constant use.
c) being the original end point of Britain's first Motorway the M1 where the motorway services still stand.
