Also known as "newbie". A newb is someone who has recently started an activity (commonly a computer game) and doesn't quite know everything about how the game or activity works yet.
Not to be confused with noob (or "n00b") which is a person who's game mostly consists of cheats to give them the best skills and equipment, then act as though they are an expert at the activity - usually through insults or annoying language.

A newb is a particular person who is bad at gaming. It doesn't have to be on games, it can be on the internet. Remember, a newb is not the same as a noob or n00b. A newb tries to get better and tries to turn into a pro, meanwhile a noob or n00b tries to beg and plead for modship, extras, etc., they also try to play the game without any help and tries to think they're doing the right thing.

Someone who can be really annoying and stupid altho newb and noob mean diffent things newb is someone who sucks but is trying to get better altho noobs normaly ask for stuff and dont want to learn nobody likes a noob but newbs are ok to teach.
