A word to describe something which is neither appropriate nor inappropriate.

A: I thought about it long and hard, it was the right decision!
B: Mmmm, long and hard... That's what I need in bed right now...
A: We are talking about eating stalks of celery in bed right?
B: Of course.
A: That's what I figured, plus it doesn't crumb easily.
B: That was neutpropriate.
