A theory that the best way to advance society is through privatisation ,free market enterprise and tax breaks. A debateable belief in theory, however in practice, just like communism was used by the USSR it has become a state religion that is used to justify a corrupt corporate welfare state and a mass transfer of public money to private hands.
'Reagan pretended to subscribe to neoliberalism, a doctrine that taxing the rich less would have beneficial effects for the whole of society. Of course he didn't actually believe that but it sure worked in favour of the ruling classes.

The Republican infrastructure plan, called "public/private partnerships" is a perfect example of neoliberalism in which companies are given tax credits and subsidies to build things such as roads which they will then own and be able to charge fees for.

A neoliberal is a pussy who believes in the rights of all Americans under the constitution like freedom of speech, just as long as you agree with him. If you do not agree with the cowardly neolib, he will insult you safe and secure from behind his computer on the Internet chat room posting boards.
