An adjective for someone who is coming into new wealth and is spending it badly. Originating in the early 20th century, meaning "Milk In First," it was implied towards those making money during the industrial revolution and oil industries who would put their milk in their tea first, when those with old wealth would put their milk in their tea after the water and tea had steeped.
