look up any word, like bootylicious:
1. GameFAQs Message Boards
GameFAQs Message Boards- A place filled to the brim with idiot trolls who overuse pathetic jokes/insults during inappropriate times and incompetent moderators who seem to only want to endanger your account. This place is controlled by "Karma," or basically points rewarded to those who use the board. Basically, a place with all internet inconveniences merged into one. Not a fun place. No, not for anyone, even the trolls.
In GameFaqs Message Boards, I posted a topic asking on good tips for making a character guide for Brawl. Before I knew it, the topic turned into an argument over whether the character sucked or not. Apparently, I was allowed to use the character, but only if I thought the character sucked. Another time I asked for links to a place for downloading some Wii applications, and I was told it was illegal activity, then someone else said I wasn't "cool" enough to help. True stories. I'm not making this up.
2. GameFAQs Message Boards
Hell in the Internet form. A place where people go to post pointless character polls, stories about their uninteresting lives, song lyrics, emo poems, argue about overrated games, emote stupidities, and generally be an all around idiot. Half of the users there don’t even understand the function of the shift key. The few people that are actually sane, original, and witty are always silenced by the power-hungry moderators.

The GameFAQs message boards brainwash their users with some crazy pretend currency system called "Karma" and "Marked Message Accuracy" (MMA). It’s a shame that people can be so easily tricked by imaginary suck-up points.
“Reading the GameFAQs message boards makes me cry.”

“GameFAQs message boards? More like LameFAQs message boards. olololol!

3. Gamefaqs
A website that is well formatted and contains lots of helpful game guides and cheats/secrets. The message boards however are complete shit and are run by a bunch of nazis who mod you and ban you for no reason if they dont like what you said.
GameFaqs helped me beat many games but when i asked for help with something on the message boards some 8 year old told me that i was a fag for not using capital letters even though he spelled every second word wrong.
4. gamefaqs message boards
Sadly, a wonderful idea and potentially one of the coolest forums on Earth, if not for major flaws that completely ruin any enjoyment from it's users.

1. The basic system:
- Possibly the most inconvenient, inaccessible and unintuitive message board system I've EVER seen. Everything you are allowed to do, even the most basic amenities of forum usage are presented as "rewards" for accumulating high "karma" (an ironic term at best). Basically a badge of honor and level of validity to one's membership gained simply by signing on. You could type by mashing the keys with your face everyday for a year and be more accepted than a newbie with halfway decent ideas.
"Want to delete a post? Sorry Karma is too low. Want to search your own posts? Sorry. Mark a troll for harassing you? Sorry. Want to post more than ten times a day? Sorry"....you get the picture.
- There is no messaging system, so communicating on a personal level is impossible. They even make a point of saying the possible inclusion of such, is not even up for discussion.
- No 'Edit post' feature at all. Which means a lot of deleted posts which still take up room, and a LOT of double or triple posting and even more typos that certainly fail to go unnoticed by the site's "grammar police".
You think with all the pop ups and drop downs, this place could spring for some convenience...
- The karma system only serves to create an elitist atmosphere where the opinions of anyone with low karma are immediately wr...

As if the fact that people utterly cheat by using GameFAQs isn't bad enough, they also have this Internet "forum" run down by a community full of many different kinds of people, but I will run down the list: grammar whores, grammar whores, nerds, losers, over-excited losers, pervs, Nintendo fanboys, people who act like GameFAQs is life, and smart and funny people, but we'll ignore those for now, because they're always ignroed by the legions of people who use "1337" common Internet lingo that is supposed to boosts' one's low self esteem, and are marked by people who are sucks ups and whose dreams it is to become a fucking moderator in life.

Okay, and while usually it runs fairly smoothly like this, whenever one posts a topic, you usually get sucky responses. Normally, when people don't know the answers to quetions one asks, they just say "Oh, look, you spelled going wrong, hahahah," or "nice grammar, dude." Hah, faggots, stupid fucking asshole fucking bitches.

Next up is the peopel who are pervs: normally, when someone posts something, some sick joke about boobs, vaginas, penises, etc. will come into play by nerds, and sometimes they arne't even funy. The nerds and losers use 1337, and it is apparently to boost teir "cool points." Worst of all, they always are goody-goodies who don't break the ToS and are always posting things like "lol *steals ur cookie on your b-day THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO NOW! MUAHAHAHAH! *slaps u hahahah I win* They're such retards, and I wonde...

6. GameFAQs Message Boards
One of the most irritating places on the web.The reson?
well, if you have ass kissing points below
30(aka karma) normal users assume your a dumbass and treat you like shit, even if your just asking a simple question and arnt trying to troll. This is becouse most people there tend to be very elitist. People also have an annoying
tendency to bitch and complain about simple spelling errors, (like spelling ganon with two n's instead of one) while completly ignorring the tc's topic. their are also a shit load of annoying fanboys that get pissed off over very trivial things (like not likeing there show) and like to debate on dumb things like who could win in a fight between monkey D. luffy and sora.(note that said topics only lead to flame wars). So if your a normal person with a real life and you like to play video games just go the gamefaqs for the faqs and avoid the hell hole message boards.
topic from GameFAQs Message Boards normal person: are they realy makeing a Tales of Symphoneia anime?

elitist gamefaqer 1: you stupid noob! symPHONia doen't have an e in it, lol.

elitist gamefaqer 2: yeah! learn to spell, retard!

annoying fanboy: rofl,we've all known about it for a year,
noob!lolololol

normal person: ooookay... can any one answer my question?
7. GameFAQs Message Boards
Let's start with a basic description of the GameFAQs Message Boards and the moderators. The mods are basically like a certain group in history that tried to kill anyone that they did not like. I will put these guys into simple catergories for easier reading.

Users - These guys could either be the civilians that snitch on people in hiding for cash(which, in this case, is karma)or these guys could be the short-lived rebellion. Within the rebellion group, we have the sub-catergories. We've got the defensive ones that don't do anything unless they are provoked into doing so and then you've got the offensive guys, who will try to strike first. The defensive guys are basically the users that usually do good enough to not get any moderations, but when they get a moderation for something silly, that's when they cuss out people, thus resulting in more heat from the mods. The offensive guys, are the guys that intentionally get themselves modded, as a symbol of defiance. Most of these guys are the trolls(who are explained later) and the account suiciders. These guys, ironically, are the only reason to even step near the message boards. They are so entertaining, that even the suckiest troll/account suicide topics are hilarious in some way.

Then you've got the snitches. The guys that are the "I never do anything wrong!" type of guys. They mark messages here and there, thinking that they are doing anything of significance. These guys have hopes of becoming moderators(as weird as t...
