th super-lumpenproletariat is also a funny word that is used by radicals to describe someone posing as being worse off than th poorest lumpenproletariat.

An over-educated, under-paid, part-time intellectual laborer, who typically works over-time for sub-standard wages with no job security and no professional future.

Welcome to the university. I am your "Professor". I will be in my shared office on Tuesdays. The rest of the week I am working at the bicycle shop. I have to do that to live inside this winter due to the fact that I am an exploited member of the of the excess intellectual labor pool of the lumpenprofessoriate.

A socialist revolution could never come from the lumpenproletariat due to the fact that they have no stake in production.

Short for lumpenproletariat. A catch-all term used primarily by self-styled Marxists to describe people "below" the proletariat. The lumpen include all people who might belong to the working class, if they worked. The unemployed, disabled, prisoners, and homeless are all part of the lumpen.

Also, the name of a political and cultural zine from Chicago.

The Black Panther Party attempted to organize the lumpen. Eldridge Cleaver: "Armed with this ideological perspective and method, Huey transformed the Black lumpenproletariat from the forgotten people at the bottom of society into the vanguard of the proletariat."
