A comfort word created by a famous kpop-idol, Hwang Hyunjin from Stray Kids. Oftenly used for hashtag to show love to his Team’s fandom, Stays. This left a big impression to them and started using it too to support Hwang Hyunjin and Stray Kids.

You'll notice that Blank Space first aired on the radio on November 10th, 2014 - and the term popped up shortly after that.
