Paperback novels in the exploitation genre, first published in the 1950s and 1960s, about torrid lesbian romances that typically didn't end well (or ended with the female protagonist reverting to a heterosexual relationship). Covers were usually campy and titillating. Also referred to as "lesbian pulp fiction." This definition is a portmanteau, combining lesbian with blaxploitation.
Lesbo Lodge, Honey Lips, and other 'lesbian pulp fiction' novels are fine examples of lesbiaxploitation.
