If we were to plot age with frequency of lashing we would see somewhat of a pictorial representation of the following: one rarely goes on the lash before age 10, a bit more before 18, spiking between 19-26. After this it steadily declines, all but disappearing by age 60.

The shock-trauma that comes from reading a long fic, chapter after chapter, barely pausing to eat let alone pay attention to what chapter you’re on, and then scrolling down to click a "next chapter" button that isn’t there.
That Browser x Seth Everman fanfic was so good! I was on the edge of my seat, waiting to see how Seth would confess his love when suddenly, the fic just stopped! It gave me WiP-lash!
