Kuchiki is a noble family of Shinigami(lit. Death God / fig. Soulreaper) in the hit anime series Bleach. They are one of the strongest noble families and the prominent members are Kuchiki Byakuya (Captain of 6th division of Gotei 13) and Kuchiki Rukia ( Lieutenant of the 13th Division under Captain Jūshirō Ukitake of the Gotei 13)

Byakuya Kuchiki, also known as Captain Kuchiki in short, is one of the characters in the Bleach series. In the early episodes, he was responsible for nearly killing Ichigo Kurosaki when Ichigo was about to finish off Renji. In combat, he always appears calm and rarely appears surprised. He's the Captain of the Sixth Division.
