A term for overacting. Derived from the science-fiction show of the 1960's Star Trek. The main character, Captain James T. Kirk was played by William Shatner, known for his slow, exagerrated speech. Thus, Kirk, the character, becaming "Kirking it." Don't be so melodramatic, you're just Kirking it now.
