A form of homophobia directed towards male leads in a work of fiction that show a form of affection toward one another. Often these characters' feelings are just dismissed as "gay" by viewers. Most often evidenced in immature viewers of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
"Every time I watch Naruto with Bobo, he can't stop saying that Naruto is gay for Sasuke. I think he suffers from hobbitphobia."
