1. high-functioning neurotypical
A neurotypical with just enough autistic traits to be tolerable.

These positive traits include:
Not needing to make small talk
Not playing head games
Not playing office politics
Prefering function over prettiness
Not complaining that you hurt their feelings every five seconds
Willingness to discuss things over e-mail rather than phone (bonus points if they prefer this)

In time it is hoped that these neurotypicals might learn to pass for aspie.
This website was designed by a really high-functioning neurotypical, you can tell because it actually works.
2. Neurotypical
A term used to refer to individuals who possess "normal" or typical intelligence, generally within an IQ range of 80-110. Sometimes used by self-actualized individuals to refer those who are not yet self-actualized. Can be used as a pejorative, in place of "stupid" or "lacking high functioning neurological processes".
"I don't understand why neurotypicals blindly follow government propaganda!"

"That guy is so neurotypical, he can't even do basic algebra."

"Physics and other pure and applied sciences are generally very difficult subjects for neurotypicals to understand."
3. Autistic
A neurotypical (NT) word that describes a group of people that are not able (nor interested at times) to conform to behaviours like :

- overvaluing eye contact by judging others on their ability / inability to do so.
- engaging in small talk
- not taking things literally
-speaking for the sake of speaking

It is a also a neurotypical (NT) word describing a segment of the disable community, those with mental illness and those who are unable to help themselves and therefor require not just assistance but direction.

Autism refers to a Spectrum of people which in reality has referred to mainly extroverted Autistics (those they can observe readily).

As much as Autistic encompasses "high functioning" Autistics and "Aspergians", NTs exercise the use of this word to mostly regard "lower functioning".

The use of the term Autistic is usually used in NT circles including 'experts, parents and service providers' only to leave out the very people they claim to be trying to help.

Autistic means to be seen as less than, dumb, incapable, foolish, naive.
"I'm Autistic"
"Um, you don't seem autistic. You seem fine to me. You make eye contact. You are reasonably expressive. Nothing's wrong with you"

"You're Autistic. I'm sorry your Autism has made things so hard for you"
"Um, I didn't say that".
4. autobot
Affectionate slang term describing a person on the autistic spectrum, usually used amongst high-functioning autistic people and those with asperger's syndrome.

Contrasted with deceptacon, which is a pejorative term describing a neurotypical person.
He's like that because he's an autobot. His honesty and reluctance to play mind-games and deception are the main reasons I like him, actually.
