v. to show deferential regard for. To acknowledge as equal or greater. Coined when Anderson Silva applied the Portuguese pronunciation of the letter 'r' to the English word 'respect' in an interview. Now widely used in the online MMA community.

Alistair Overeem got knocked out because he no have the hespect for Silva's ability.
