Heredicatchy is a multi-use word having multiple senses. In the first sense it refers to a hereditary condition that people are afraid of catching from someone else. In the second sense heredicatchy refers to physical traits and conditions flippantly attributed to a hereditary condition which is in fact systemic or "caught".
Two men were having a chat. The first man patted the top of his balding head and tells the second man, "My father and grandfather had this mail pattern baldness and passed it down to me.'"The second man said to the first, "From now on, I would appreciate it if you would keep your distance from me. That sounds heredicatchy."
