Hadji Jerky

-Term used to describe body remains of a Suicide bomber after he or she has detonated themselves. The self-inflicted explosion tears the body apart, leaving scraps of flesh that tend to look like pieces of beef jerky.
We arrived to find pieces of Hadji Jerky on the walls and in the street around the blast area.

used as slang by troops in Iraq to describe an Iraqi citizen. Usually used in an offensive context. Also spelled Hajji, because noone can make up thier minds which is correct.
Hadji is actually a term of respect for muslims who have made the piligrmage to Mecca and completed the "Hajj". Those who have completed the Hajj often have Hajj added as a prefix to thier name when being formally addressed.
I don't trust those fucking hadjis, they wave at you one day and shoot at you the next.

Hadji Don't Surf

Hadji became a derogatory name used by American troops to describe enemy fighters during the war in Iraq. The phrase "Hadji Don't Surf" is based on “CHARLIE DON’T SURF!” from the Viet Nam war movie “Apocalypse Now.” The phrase "Hadji Don't Surf" is a morale declaration that Americans are militarily and culturally superior to their Iraqi enemies.
Captain: "We've been ordered to secure that town TODAY."
Sergeant frowns: "Hmm... that will be a challenge, sir."
Captain smiles. "Yeah, but Hadji don't surf."

Hadjiville

Any territory, hostile or not, which is outside your camp's friendly walls in Afghanistan or Iraq.

Derrogatory term for whatever shit-ass village of mud brick hovels you had to clear this morning, looking for bad guys, especially when you can't remember the name of the place.
We spent four days out in Hadjiville on this last operation. Thought I'd never get back in.

We cought eight goobers hiding in a chicken coop over in Hadjiville last night.

Hadji Cereal

1. Dry, often stale, breakfast food (usually Honeycomb) offered in a plastic sandwich bag as part of a "continental breakfast" at some privately owned motels. Hadji (or Haji) sandwiches are sometimes offered in addition to the cereal or as a substitute.

Also sometimes called Radji (or Raji) cereal
(see definition for hadji/haji sandwich)

2. Any breakfast food offered at a "Continental breakfast" with which the necessary accompaniment is not offered.
i.e. dry cereal with no milk, instant oatmeal with no water, etc.

Since many independantly owned motels nationwide have been acquired by Arab families, standards in Continental breakfasts have fallen
I was at first disappointed that all that was offered at the continental breakfast was Hadji cereal, but then I realized that it was easily portable, so I took my Hadji cereal with me and enjoyed it the rest of the day.

Term used in the U.S. military for person of Arab/Middle Eastern descent. Supposedly in arabic the word Hajji is added to a person's name to signify that they've made the Hadj pilgramage to Mecca.
Our convoy took sniper and RPG fire from group of 8-10 hajjis.
