Grey Lady

a grey ghost of a lady that every primary (at least in my area) had. Usually found in the lads or girls toilets (depending on if you're a lad or a girl). Appears at night or when someone says "grey lady" three times and switches the light off. No primary school kid dared try it and if they did they left before she could appear (apparently). Varying stories of her death and stories of my mates' mate's older brother saw her as a kid.
Boy 1: hey let's make the Grey Lady appear
Boy 2: no! That's just stupid! She'll take her revenge for being jilted at the altar!

(it was common to say she was a vengeful spirit who was jilted by her husband or something similar)

That guy is a grey lady; every time I walk into his office, I check the bottom of my shoe to see if I stepped in dog shit.

Grey Lady Effect

*Referring to Lady Helena Ravenclaw from J.K Rowling's Harry Potter*

This happens when someone (Often an offspring/friend/spouse/partner of someone famous) gets overshadowed by well... Someone famous (Like how Helena Ravenclaw was being constantly compared and overshadowed to her mother, Rowena Ravenclaw.). It results on the former being constantly compared to, bullied, underestimated or outright discriminated by clueless people based on the latter (The Famous Person), causing mental strain and low self-esteem.

To famous people who have ordinary children/friends/spouses/partners, please never give the Grey Lady effect to them. It sucks. Real bad.
Severus, son of a celebrity dad: I hate my dad. I love acting, but being constantly compared to my dad's achievements kills me.

Dyl: That's the Grey Lady effect for you.
Phyl: That sucks. Being a shadow to your dad.
Severus: I don't like it. I love my dad, but I hate the people treating me like shit because of his fame. I wish I can just be me.

Lady in Grey

An urban legend figure seeming to originate in Germany. She is in some tellings a witch who preys upon children lost in the woods. Usually appears tall with a long crooked nose, grey dress, and wide grin.
I can't find my bread crumb trail! Hope the lady in grey doesn't eat me...

the Grey (or gray) Lady

Ghost of Ravenclaw House, the daughter of founder, Rowena Ravenclaw, Helena Ravenclaw.
harry: who's the Grey (or gray) Lady?!
quirrell: the house ghost for ravenclaw, like nearly-headless nick is gryffindor's, the bloody baron is slytherin's, or the fat friar is hufflepuff's, harry my man.
It is said of the situation where a person has the bad luck to make contact with his testicles against an undefined surface or object, intentioned or not.
Given the nature of the word, it is more appropriate to design cases where the interaction is made with a moving object, for example, a ball.
Although it is extremely painful for the victim, it tends to be considerably funny to people who witness it.
Today in the baseball game the pitcher took a nutshot; the baseball hit him in the nuts.

Man, I just watched the funniest nutshot video ever.

Nerd neck

A "human" that spends so much time playing video games that their posture is level nerd neck. Everytime anyone goes tryhard they hunch down and their neck gets longer there fore a nerd neck is always hunched down cause they're always going try hard. In other words a nerd neck is a try hard, since their neck is 100% longer than the average human being due to playing too many video games and taking them serious, nerd necks are not even considered human anymore but something more sad. Nerd necks are often found on fortnite, their natural habitat usually being tilted towers.
What a fucking nerd neck!

He is building so fast, nerd neck!

Looser more like a nerd neck ha!
