to me a girly girl is a high spirit person not always down on the dumps. and ppl that is always are mad and get annoyed real easy will say they brats and peppy but peppy is not a bad thing. im a girly girl and i like the color pink purple and black with pink. i love dresses and skirts but i dont wear them (i know im weird lol) ppl stereo type girly girl from what they see on tv they mixed up girly girl to the world skank cause girly girl use to mean proper which mean they use to not say LIke. and the only reason ppl think they act like that cause TV change everything making ppl think they act like that then the ppl that think girly girls are like that start acting that way!!!

Gwen responded making that totally "hollaback" popular cheerleader song which is kind of contradictory. Why? Because "hollaback girl" is slang for "im not the type of girl that just 'HOLLERS BACK another diss'(get it? hollaback girl? any connections here?)So as Gwen Stefani wrote that she wasn't just a girl who screams an insult to a wannabee but instead gets into action, she actually did. If she wanted to prove that she wasn't a hollabacking cheerleader she could've just beat the crap out of Courtney Love.

A girly girl is a woman or a young lady/teenager who chooses to act in the traditional feminine way. It does not mean being skanky or trashy because that's just tacky. Being girly does not mean loving pink you could like blue or green it does not matter. Being girly is embracing your femininity in a very optimistic, sophisticated way. Not all girly girls are mean, and if they are it is not because they are girly it probably means that they don't care about others feelings. Girly girls are suppose to be optimistic,kind,confident women. If you think girly girls are otherwise I believe you should do some more research and not on Urban Dictionary.
