Verb deriving from actor/singer Eddie Murphy's only hit song "Party All the Time" which can still be heard as a remix today or just at any decent 80s party. Used in the same manner as "get down" or "getting boogie" or "getting fly" in a large social setting such as a club, party, kegger, etc.
Tom: So did you have a good time at the club last night?
Bill: Yo!!! We were getting Eddie Murphy like the whole night. It was outta hand

OR

Tom: So how was the party last night?
Bill: The cops came and busted it. We couldn't get even get Eddie Murphy for like 5 minutes.
