A derisory moniker for Federal Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald, the prosecutor looking into the possible leaking of CIA employee Valerie Plame's possible undercover status by someone in the Bush administration. Has also indicted Cheney Chief of Staff Lewis 'Scooter' Libby for various charges. Recalls the comic figure Mr. Magoo, who was so vision-impaired he could barely see his own nose. Used by those that see Fitzgerald as incompetent.
'Fitzmagoo' today announced new subpoenas for news reporters involved in the Plame leak case.
