A picture that is misleading, edited, or staged, so it shows something which did not actually happen, or which happened in a different way than is being claimed.
When my dad showed the insurance adjuster the fictures of the fire damage, you could almost see the gas can in one of them.

Al: I thought I saw those two chicks making out somewheres.

1. A picture or photograph that has been modified using Photoshop or other image editing programs so that it no longer gives a true representation of the subject matter.
2. Any image that has been modified or fabricated with the use of image editing software and passed off as real or authentic.
That photo with the donkey's head on the politician's body is clearly a ficture.
