False eyelashes (sometimes called eyelash extensions) are worn by women (occasionally men) to thicken the upper eyelashes. They are favoured by sluts and porn stars but are also worn by girls and women who wish to look sluttish or seductive. There are two main types: a strip of lashes which is applied along the entire length of the eyelid; individual lashes or groups of lashes which are applied to areas which are sparse, or at the outer part of the eyelid to achieve a particular effect.
