Electroplankton

A game for the Nintendo DS which is one of Nintendo's primary examples of games which 'break the mold' of videogames. It was created by Toshio Iwai, a multimedia artist in Japan, and published by Nintendo.

Electroplakton is not really a 'game,' exactly, as much as it is sort of an electronic musical toy, played on the Nintendo DS. there is no goal, no score, no timer, nothing to unlock, no skill levels, no nothing. Just a musical toy which can be used to create audio-visual art pieces (or not) by interacting with various sets of plankton, each of which have their own behavioral patterns and sounds. While many people will have a fun time creating unique musical beats and sounds, many people will also think that this game is a large waste of money. As of May 2005, it has only been released in Japan, and no american release information is available.
Person A: "Wow, this is really fun!"

Person B: "WTF?!? These graphics suck! How do I unlock the next level? Can I use the plasma rifle? I'm pwning you!!! I hate this fucking game!"

Electropunk

A fusion of electro and punk rock invented by The Screamers in the mid-1970s. Usually made with a sequencer or keyboard and has the same song structure as regular punk. The term electropunk has recently been discovered by scene kids and in turn they labeled various crunkcore/metalcore/pop rock bands as electronicore/electropunk because they use sequencers in their songs. Typically the samples and/or keyboard sounds are used in the way instruments used in punk (drums, bass, and guitar).

Electropunk:

The Screamers
Atom And His Package
Glenn Pakendasen

Not Electropunk:

Asking Alexandria
Blood On The Dance Floor
Breathe Carolina
Electropunk is most likely the most DIY form of punk since it needs a $0 budget and is super unpopular.

electromonkey

A monkey who has ADHD, hyped up on a quart of Red Bull shots, and has a high powered fire hose. It is also inside of a Tesla cage, a metal cage charged with 20,000 volts of electricity that can only go outside of the cage, not in. This arrangement produces a highly random series of lightning bolts in all directions. The speed at which the monkey moves has been known to violate Einstein's theory of relativity by breaking the speed of light barrier. With the inclusion of a small black hole, the monkey then has infinite negative mass and infinite negative gravity, so nothing, not even light, can reach the monkey to destroy it. Electromonkeys are best suited for unleashing on internet trolls or perverts in chat rooms.
You: Why hello. How are you today?

Troll: asl?

You: UNLEASH THE ELECTROMONKEY!

Troll: lolwut? That's so stupi- AAAAAAAHHHHHHH THE PAIN AND AGONY!

Electrovore

A creature which uses electricity as food. Extended sometimes to the concept that people use kWh and that this can be equated to kCals or KJ. Also in relation to the possibility of engineering a direct food intake in a genetic organism.

electrocore

electrocore(eXc) is a cross between electronica and hardcore music. Electrocore is often used as a label, it is tougher than scene but not as tough as real hardcore and is thus somewhat of a cross between the two. The electrocore label is heavily influenced by the genres of music that "electros"(what electrocore "kiddz" are called) listen to. This is a range of heavy metal to techno. Most electros are straightedge, strong willed, untrusting, and apathetic as to what others think. Electros are constantly confused with punks, goths, emos, scensters, and hardcore kids, however, which label they are confused with depends on each individual electros style. The true birth of electrocore is somewhere in the south, either Florida, Georgia, Alabama, or Texas and there are very few true electros.

1. "that girl is so electrocore."
2. "electrocore?"
1. "yeah, she probably listens to a lot of techno music..."
