dine and dip

going to an event just for the free food (especially for a club/organization in which you are not involved) and leaving promptly after acquiring said food

Person 1: Dude, are you going to the event tonight? They're serving free food!
Person 2: Word? I wasn't gonna but imma just dine and dip then.
