The act of wasting time or doing a purposeless act.
Person #1: Man I just failed my exam!
Person #2: Why? the teacher gave us the answers to the test to memorize
Person #1: I was way too busy dickin around on facebook until 4 AM to learn them.

Dickin' around 

1. The act of not acting. Literally, not doing anything for an extended period of time.

2. The actual movement of "Dickin' around", poundin' some girl while she cries your name and claws at the headboard behind her.
1. Boss: "Have you completed your work for the day?"
Worker: "Nope."
Boss: "What have you been doing all day?"
Worker: "You know, just dickin' around."

2. Girl: "Ah yeah, dick me harder Steph."
Lady Gaga: "Hell yeah, mothafucker, I'll dick you where the sun don't shine."

Dickin' around 

Phrase used instead of "Screwin around" or "Messin around".
Dave- Hey Bob, what's up?
Bob- Nothing, just dickin' around with my girlfriend.

bull-dickin' around 

bull-dickin' around: a slang term to describe lazy actions, fooling around, or unnecessary horse play, normally used by a coach, or manager or a foreman to yell at their players (or workers) to get going, get working, stop messing around and get to work. Normally the term is used in practice or unpublished situations where slang and profanity are more normally accepted and practiced.
" come on dammit, stop your bull-dickin' around and lets get going so we can get this down and get this game over with

Quit Dickin' Around 

When your JV lacrosse coach gets mad at you for messing around in the weight room, and he feels the need to yell and/or call you to the endline.
Coach Thom: "Hey Wooten! Quit dickin' around and get your tail on the end line!"
