to have a sudden onslaught of ludicrous failure brought down upon you...especially after you illegally video tape other teams' practice...and arrogantly prance into superbowl XL II expecting to be handed the Lombardi trophy while wearing a ridiculous red hoodie.

big spoon debacle 

The awkward moment when lying in bed when one must decide which partner will be the big spoon or the little spoon. Generally, only occurs with same-sex relationships.

Rocky was shorter than his partner, Bulwinkle, but when Bulwinkle turned away, Rocky had to awkwardly figure out his next step in the big spoon debacle and reluctantly assumed the role of big spoon.
