Remove a ghetto, preferably by running the Richard C. Lee memorial highway through it.

Deghettoizing 

Moving up in social status and getting nice expensive merchandise. No longer wearing cheap clothes or using cheap merchandise. (i.e wearing walmart clothes or using a CD player)
