dad brand

A brand of clothing that your dad would wear. Not any reference to the quality or price, but the image that a particular brand gives off. Not something a guy under the age of 25-30 would prefer to wear. Examples: Orvis, Eddie Bauer, Wrangler's, Greg Norman, Walter Hagen, Tommy Bahama, etc.
Guy 1: Hey bro, let's stop by the Orvis store.

Guy 2: Nah man, that's such a dad brand. I'll meet you at H&M.

girl grip

The ability girls and women have developed to hold several items at once in one hand. The skill has been developed due to the lack of pockets in women's clothing.
I thought she'd need multiple trips to carry her phone, keys, wallet, and Starbucks to her car since she needed the other hand to open the door, but she used her impressive girl grip to carry everything in one hand.
