the use of the internet to disseminate disinformation and propaganda through the use of viral emails and blog posts with fictional attributions.

Viral emails that have alleged that President Obama was sworn in on a Koran, is a secret Muslim, was born in Kenya and won't recite the Pledge of Allegiance are examples of cyberprop.
