El Cunado commonly refered to as Brother in law (brother of one's spuse).

In the Bro Code he would represent a brother in law that is mostly hated by the husband and all of his bros for beeing a dick, idiot or making the husband look bad in all sorts of situations.

He is not wanted in the comapny of the husband and his bros, but is often beeing forced by the husbands spouse to become a part of the bros and hang out with them.

“Brother in law” in Spanish but it is also used before you’re married. For example, your gf’s/bf’s brother is your cuñado, your sister’s bf is also your cuñado.

In Spain, this word, which literally means "brother in law" has recently been used as a colloquial way to describe someone (usually adult men) with traditional and simple-minded right-wing views that tend to speak on issues as an expert and a connoisseur, even though he's clearly none of that.
Basically, someone that speaks to show how "intelligent" he is but without actually saying anything fairly interesting or groundbreaking.

Cuñadismo

Spanish slang that literally translates to "Brother-in-law-ism". Refers to an attitude of excessive nihilism, know-it-all or conservatism often justified with fallacy and post-truth statements. The main difference between a cuñado and an average moronic blabbermouth is that the cuñado treats everybody with familiarity, has a high opinion of himself and (in fact) might be more successful than you in everything.

Also, for some Left-wing supporters in Spain, referred to the line of thought of right-center/liberal political parties such as C's or UPyD.

In other words, cuñadismo comprises all the reasons why you hate your brother/sister-in-law so much.
