A feeling of emptiness or emotional blunting, but in an almost uneasy way. As if you’re dissociating, feeling an emotional disconnect between your feelings that you are unable to identify and or have the energy to cope with or “fix” said feelings, which causes a large feeling of dread.
Similar to emotions such as malaise, melancholy, listlessness, and weltschmerz.
Ex:
Person 1: “What’s wrong with Riley lately? She seems really off lately.”
Person 2: “I don’t know, it’s almost like she’s not there..”
Person 3: “Yeah, like she’s cream-colored.”
