crapronym 

an acronym (series of letters that represents multiple words that are frequently used together) that ignores a word or uses a letter other than the first in a word, so that it may sound better. A crapronym may also use a commonly ignored word such an article.
Acronym: nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) - uses every word
Crapronym: selection of ligands by exponential enrichment (SELEX) - uses both "e" and "x" from "exponential' and ignores "enrichment"

Rapronym 

When a rapper or MC takes a commonly used word or phrase and turns it into an acronym.
Lil' Wayne: "I'm about to go H.A.M. In the booth son."
Producer: "Da fuq you mean?"
Lil' Wayne: "Hard as a mutha fucka."
(Random white guy janitor): "Damn rapronyms"
Lil' Wayne: "Look at this machine gun kelly lookin' ass trying to sound smart... Gonna go extra H.A.M. On his ass!"

To me, BRB is a few nonsensical letters, evidently this chacronym means 'Be Right Back'.

Chatronym 

Acronyms typically found in chat rooms or instant messenger usage. Some people use these acronyms in normal speach, causing them to look like complete idiots (ie a person SAYING lol in exchange for laughing)
lol: laughing out loud
omg: oh my gosh
stfu: shut the f*ck up
