Used by Sicilian gangs, it is now a separate branch of organized crime. It's meaning is literally, "This thing of ours". It goes back hundreds of years, when the Mafia was invented to protect Sicilian families from maurauding gangs and conquerers.

Lucy Luciano was known for bringing La Cosa Nostra to the United States.

Literally "Our case" or "Our business", Italian term. Especially used a lot in reference to the mafia. Also a synonym for mafia. Both sort of forbidden words, not used in Godfather 1.

The Cosa Nostra are fighting the Colombians.

Casinos 

Casinos don't make anything better. Most of the people that lived in Detroit didn't leave because they didn't have a casino nearby, Detroit had deeper problems than that. So far nothing replaced the music industry that was there, and the auto industry started losing it's edge a long time ago. People most likely once thought it would never happen in Detroit, but Detroit is not the only place something like that can happen.

Casinos seem like a way the people in charge try to convince the people that live there that everything is okay and under control when in reality it's been in trouble for a long time, and the people in charge are ignoring it because they don't really give a fuck about anything but being in charge.

Casinostugan, (The Casino Cabin) is a Swedish online casino. The front figure of the casino is Ture the moose. The TV-Commercials from the casino has become a meme in Sweden, because of the moose's accent, that sounds like an old hunter from the northern parts of Sweden.
