For every action}, there is an equal and opposite reaction.(not allways a true statement).
A motorist decides to cross a rail, even though he/she sees' the aproaching train. The motorists' reaction is to stomp on the gas and try to beat the train, but fails. The ONLY reaction the conductor of the train has is to blow his horn,as a train cannot stop on a dime. The two collide. The "EQUAL" part of the deffinition for concequence is thrown right out the window, as the conductor has survived the wreck, and the concequence for the motorist is most assuredly a winning ticket to the pearly gates!
