n. (onomatopoeia) The notification sound associated with incoming instant messages from many instant messenger programs or mobile application notifications. Typically comprised of three bell-like tones in quick succession.
v. The act of making a boodlybink sound.

2. Is my phone around here somewhere? I thought I just heard a boodlybink.
