boardword

a word scoring particularly well in board games such as scrabble, words with friends and wordfeud, due to the letters used to form it. Often used about a word seldomly seen in common usage, but the term covers all high-scoring words.
"Squiffy for 75 points? That's a real boardword you've got there."

"I'm 30 points under, I need a good boardword to take the lead again."
