initial verbal reaction of someone being told about a science that has branched off of biology (i.e. bioinformatics, biomedical engineering, biochemistry, etc).
Mom,"So what are you studying in graduate school that requires all this additional money?'
Son, "Bioinformatics."
Mom, "BIOWHAT!?"
