Literally "Beer Corpses" in German. Also known as "Beer Zombies" or "Sleeping Drunks."

Someone who has consumed so much alcohol generally beer that they pass out at the table. Related to Octoberfest.

I decided it was time to go home when I saw more Bierleichen than functioning alcoholics.
