Noun. A strange looking animal with a long nose, huge paws, deadly claws, often green cat-like eyes, and a serious weight problem. The bastard child of a male bear and a female cougar. Similiar to the coubear, except that they prefer domestic areas more. beargars have a particular affection for fish and berries, but are also known to feast on smaller animals, particularly domestic cats and dogs. These are very hardy animals, and although are not generally vicious towards humans, have been known to attack when threatened with socks.
